I Started PMU With Zero Clients: The Exact 30-Day Plan to Get Your First Bookings

Let me guess — you’re not scared of learning the skill.
You’re scared of finishing training and thinking:
“Okay… now how do I actually get clients?”
I get it. I started with zero clients and built my business through consistency, community, and showing up even when it felt cringe.
Here’s a simple 30-day plan you can follow to get your first bookings (without being salesy).
Week 1: Set your foundations (so you don’t wobble)
Pick your service focus (e.g., machine brows or lip blush)
Set up your Instagram bio clearly: what you do + where you are + how to enquire
Create a highlights set: About / Prices / Healing / FAQs / Results / Booking
Write your “why” in 3 lines (this becomes your content)
Week 2: Build trust fast (even with a small portfolio)
You don’t need 100 photos. You need clarity and consistency.
Post:
1 intro post (your story + why PMU)
1 educational post (who’s suitable, what healing looks like)
1 behind-the-scenes post (set-up, hygiene, mapping)
1 “what to expect” post (pain, appointment flow, aftercare)
And talk on Stories daily. Not perfect. Just present.
Week 3: Create momentum (this is where bookings start)
Post 3–4 times this week (mix education + personality)
Comment genuinely on local pages and community posts
Join local Facebook groups (your area) and engage like a human
Share your availability clearly
If you’re offering model slots, be transparent:
What’s included
What the cost is
Who’s suitable
How to apply
Week 4: Convert (without feeling pushy)
This is where most beginners avoid the ask.
You need clear CTAs like:
“DM me the word BROWS and I’ll send availability.”
“Want to be a model? Message me MODEL and I’ll send the details.”
“If you’re in [your area] and you’ve been thinking about PMU, now’s the time — I’ve got limited slots.”
And then follow up. Most people need a nudge.
The truth no one tells you
Confidence comes after you start.
The first videos feel awkward. The first posts feel cringe. Then you get a message. Then you get a booking. Then you realise: I can actually do this.
That’s why my students don’t just get technique — they get a launch plan, content, and ongoing support.
