These are my tried and tested ways of getting new clients. I've made the mistakes & had the successes, so now I am going to pass on the most efficient and effective way to get more clients.
Instagram gives you the opportunity to market to anyone in the world for FREE. You need to learn how to use it to your ability & be CONSISTENT. Stories are your way to nurture your existing followers, and the grid should be your portfolio for NEW Followers. Ensure you are using features such as the location tags, follow & interact with local business.
FACEBOOK GROUPS
1.8 BILLION people are on facebook groups! The amazing thing is they are usually local, meaning you can target your local demographic of clients. I personally have found most success in local mum groups. While these groups are great for getting clients through the door, I often do find they are clients wanting a deal or an offer. I would recommend offering 10/15% off during your quietest times & ensuring you are using this to your advantage.
FOLLOW UPS
80% of sales require an average of 5 follow ups before closing? DONT miss out on sales by not following up. I have a notes page on my phone with potential leads and ensure I am following up on these clients, especially when I am running an offer or have an opening. 'The fortune is in the follow up'
REFFERAL PROGRAM
Its so easy to put a referral program in place, when I first started out my brow business I offered a £20 voucher for every referral. This was essential for growing my business. The most important part of referrals is ensuring you are providing a service that your clients want to recommend. Even if you are new to the industry & not 100% confident in the treatment you are carrying out, you can ensure you are providing 10/10 customer service.
LOCAL BUSINESS'
Ask local businesses if you can leave business cards or set up a referral scheme, places such as hairdressers & nail salons are a perfect place to start as they have the same target audience as you.
COLLABORATIONS
Approach local beauty salons who don't offer your services & ask if they want to advertise your services to their clients, you can either give them a finders fee or let them pay you a flat rate for services. This is a great way to expand your portfolio.

GOOGLE MY BUSINESS
I was late to the party with Google my business & it genuinely is such an amazing FREE tool. Ensure you are asking your clients to leave their reviews on google as it will help new clients find you. Upload as many photos as you can, and ensure you are captioning them with KEY WORDS. (Brows based in Dartford). Try and use this like another social media platform & keep it updated regularly, google will reward you for this.

FRIENDS AND FAMILY
Don't be shy about asking your friends & family to promote you, I have always offered friends & family great discounts because I know they are going to refer me to friends & colleagues. Start at home, its a great way to build your network.
FACEBOOK & INSTAGRAM ADS
If used correctly, facebook ads can help you reach your target audience, fast! Just ensure you are setting your demographic corectly & using key words. TIP: Don't just use words such as permanent makeup, target clients that don't always know about permanent makeup yet but are interested in beauty & personal care, such as; nail salons, makeup artists, luxury bags.
BE PASSIONATE & PROUD OF YOUR WORK
I am so passionate about my work, almost anyone I meet knows within the first 5 minuets what I do for work. Always have a business card to hand and don't be afraid to speak to the school mums, waitress at a restaurant or your local delivery driver. You never know who might be looking for the services you offer.
Thank you for reading my first blog post, I would really appreciate any feedback you may have & let me know if these tips have helped you & your business.
